At Prince of Peace, we strive to be a church that welcomes ALL. This means we are committed to ensuring that worship and church life are accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or circumstance. We continually work to remove barriers so everyone can fully participate in our community.
Here are some of the ways we aim to make our church accessible:
For a positive listening experience, our sanctuary features a state-of-the-art sound system for both voice and music. We also offer a hearing loop system, which provides direct hearing with less reverberation and background noise. If you have hearing aids or accessories with a T-coil, simply activate it to connect automatically to the system. If you're unsure about having a T-coil, check with your hearing care provider to have it activated. If you don’t have a T-coil, we offer sound packs with headphones, which you can find at the back of the sanctuary. Please ask an usher or visit the AV booth for assistance.
Our building is designed to be welcoming for individuals with mobility challenges. We have wheelchair-accessible entrances and restrooms, as well as designated seating areas in the sanctuary to ensure everyone can participate comfortably. If you need assistance accessing any part of the building, our greeters and ushers are happy to help.
For those unable to join us in person, we provide multiple ways to stay connected. Recordings of our worship services are posted on our YouTube channel every Sunday at noon following the service, equipped with captions allowing you to watch at a time that works best for you.
